The first Duck Race was held on August 26th, 2017. We had been awarded a grant from Tochigi City’s Yumefare organization which helps in supporting locals with ideas of introducing the city to new things.

We were overwhelmed with the positive reaction of the event so much that we knew this had to become a yearly event.

In 2018, with continued support from Yumefare, we held the race again on August 26th and was over the moon to see that people were happy we were back. However, we were left wanting to give the people something more. So we had planned to make our next race bigger and better. Unfortunately, due to a terrible typhoon in 2019, we had to postpone the third race. Once again in 2020, we cancelled due to the Coronavirus. But! We are back and looking forward to making people feel happy and putting smiles on faces in 2021 and beyond.
